A partir del análisis de investigaciones que demuestran la importancia del juicio de autoeficacia en la recuperación de infartados de corazón cuando interviene la esposa del enfermo y, sobre todo, en el rendimiento de grupos y organizaciones, se plantea la hipótesis de que la autoeficacia es un mediador imprescindible a la hora de afrontar problemas familiares. Se acentúa, dentro del grupo familiar, la importancia de la autoeficacia percibida por el lider de la tarea donde surge el tema familiar. Finalmente se hace un diseño de una intervención en una muestra de policías.

Self-efficacy and its influence on overcoming family's problems. Starting from the analysis of reseachs that show the importance of self-referents judgments on the recovery of people after a myocardial infarction when their wifes cooperate, and especially, on the performance of groups and organizations, it is proposed the hypothesis that the self-efficacy judgements a necessary mediator to face familiar problems. It being stresed the importance of the self-efficacy of the leader on the area in witch the familiar problem appear. Finally it is proposed a model how to cope with a special problem police's families.
